Master’s Thesis Explores Magical Realism in Khaled Al-Yousef’s Novels at King Faisal University

Researcher Amani Al-Subaie defended her master’s thesis in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, King Faisal University. The thesis, titled (Magical Realism in the Novels of Khaled Al-Yousef,) was supervised by Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Latif Al-Jumaan.

The study aims to identify the features of magical realism in Khaled Al-Yousef’s novels, as well as to examine its artistic manifestations and its role in shaping the narrative structure and constructing the fictional worlds within his works.

The thesis reflects the growing academic and critical interest in Khaled Al-Yousef’s literary production, highlighting the attention his novels have received from researchers exploring them through various critical perspectives.

It was completed as part of the requirements for the Master’s degree in Arabic Language at King Faisal University for the academic year 1446 AH / 2025 CE.
